Alisevket is involved in all aspects of business strategy with a focus on delivering the services of a private investment office to his select client group of clients. He works closely with the investment team and focuses primarily on portfolio construction and longer-term investments. Alisevket has a breadth of experience in the industry having held senior positions at UBP, ACPI Investments, Julius Baer and Merrill Lynch. He completed postgraduate studies in International relations and Economics at Johns Hopkins University, and in Finance at London Business School. He also has a degree in political science from Bogazici University.
Ammalan has over 20 years of experience and is jointly responsible for investment oversight of all mandates managed by the multi-asset team. Additionally, he is responsible for contributing towards the team’s macroeconomic views and multi-asset portfolio positioning and construction. Previously he has worked for London Diversified Fund Management, a global macro hedge fund, ECM, a fixed income asset manager and Credit Suisse First Boston. He began his career at Ernst & Young in the International Capital Markets Group where he qualified as an accountant. He also sits on the Derivatives exam panel of the CISI.
Carnegie is the co-founder of Arbion Holdings. He is the CEO and drives strategy. Carnegie is also the Co-Founder of Squared Investments, now part of Arbion Holdings. Previously, Carnegie advised entrepreneurs and high-profile sports clients on tax and corporate advisory issues at Deloitte. He has a BA (Hons) in Management Finance at University of Nottingham and is a member of CIOT and CISI. Carnegie is committed to his family’s initiative in Liberia and Sported as Deputy Chairman. He is a former Ambassador with the British Olympic Association and personally invests into early-stage businesses where he acts as an advisor.
Chan joined Arbion’s Hedge Fund Business following his graduation from Imperial College London. He supports the management of hedge fund portfolios, conducts quantitative and qualitative research and executes trades. Chan received an MSc Statistics (Finance Stream) from Imperial College London, and a BSc Mathematics with Applied Mathematics from The University of Nottingham. Chan is passionate about football and enjoys swimming and traveling.
Charlotte joined Arbion as a Senior Client Advisor specialising in international clients with complex structures. Charlotte was previously at Union Bancaire Privée, where she joined as a relationship manager in 2019 following the acquisition of ACPI Investments Ltd. Prior to joining ACPI in 2015, Charlotte previously worked at Julius Baer and Merrill Lynch. Charlotte holds a BSc in History and Philosophy of Science from University College London and is a Chartered MSCI. Charlotte enjoys playing tennis, skiing and chess.
Chelsea oversees the day to day running of the office, and is also Executive Assistant to the Senior Partners of Arbion. In addition, she is responsible for effectively leading Arbion’s business support team, events planning, and leads on our project management initiatives. She has over 15 years of experience as an EA at C-Suite level in the financial and professional services industries and has managed many large teams. Chelsea received her Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (Level 7 CIPD) in 2017 and is a member of Arbion’s Business Operations Committee.
Daniel oversees the Wealth Management business in Arbion. He started his career in Gruppo Mediolanum in Dublin, then joined Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management division in London. In 2001 he joined the founding team of ACPI Investment Limited becoming the Head of Wealth Management. Following the acquisition by UBP of ACPI at the end of 2018, Daniel became a Managing Director at UBP London until July 2022. Daniel received a M.A in Economics from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi (Milan) and a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University (Chicago). He is a CFA Charterholder and also holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.
Dotan started his career on the trading floor dealing with Fixed Income and Equities before moving on to look after families and private clients. He has more than 20 years’ experience of investing in markets and managing clients wealth. Dotan enjoys learning and researching companies and works closely with the investment team, focusing primarily on long-term investments. Previously, he was in charge of the Israeli desk at UBS London, was Partner at ACPI and Managing Director at UBP. Dotan received an MSc in Investment Management from Cass Business School, and completed a Value Investing Programme at Columbia Business School.
Fatma is responsible for managing and developing client relationships. She has experience in the investment banking, retail and government sectors as well as in structuring early stage tech start-up financing. She worked at Lehman Brothers to originate debt financing and restructuring for institutional clients as part of the global debt capital markets team. She received an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economic and International Relations from Brown University. Fatma has an interest in modern history of art, is a keen museum goer and enjoys mountain life.
Greg is the co-founder of Arbion Holdings and is responsible for strategy across the business as well as advising clients. Greg is also the co-founder of Squared Investments, now part of Arbion. Greg has worked across and invested in both public and private markets, bringing this expertise to his clients who use this experience in decision making across their investments. He is a Fellow of the CISI and has received a BSc (Hons) degree in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Nottingham. Greg is a keen cyclist and personally invests in or acts as an advisor to some fast-growing businesses across technology, software and wine!
Harry's role is to assist with investment research and supporting the management of our multi-asset portfolios & UCIT funds. Prior to Arbion, Harry completed an accountancy placement, and worked within a family office for two years as an Investment Research Analyst primarily focusing on economic and fund research. Harry received a BA (Hons) Business Management with Accounting and Finance from the University of the West of England, holds his Investment Management Certificate (IMC), and his CFA Level 1. Outside of work Harry is enthusiastic about films, music and sports, especially football and skiing.
Kate joined Arbion as Executive Assistant to our CEO. Prior to joining Arbion, Kate has over 30 years’ experience as an Office Manager and Personal Assistant across various industries. She has held managerial positions, heading up the administration functions and managing large secretarial teams. Kate is very passionate about charity work and has volunteered for many different charities over the years.
Kate’s key responsibility is to identify, evaluate and mitigate the firm’s regulatory, operational and reputational risks and to ensure the firm has a robust compliance framework. Prior to Arbion, Kate worked at HSBC Private Bank as Head of Client Services in the UK, at JPMorgan Private Bank in the UK UHNW team, and at Coutts Private Office. Kate is a member of Arbion’s Product Approval Committee and Business Operations Committee. Kate is passionate about her heritage and her South African origin, and she endeavours to travel home at least once a year to visit her family.
Kirin oversees all business operations and forms part of Arbion’s Board of Directors. Kirin is also responsible for all legal matters related to the firm. Kirin trained and qualified as a solicitor at Pinsent Masons (Formerly McGrigors LLP) where she spent 5 years in their London office. Having qualified into the Corporate team, Kirin has experience in a wide range of corporate matters including M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions. Prior to McGrigors Kirin worked as a paralegal with the M&A team at Freshfields LLP. Kirin received an LLB Law and LLM Corporate & Commercial Law from University College London.
Luigi heads the Private Capital and Family Board Services divisions. Prior to joining Arbion, Luigi was a Partner at ACPI Investment Limited where he led the Family Office and Institutional Business. Before this, Luigi was Managing Director at Bear Stearns where he built an investment management business focusing on Institutional & Family Office investors across Europe and Latin America. Luigi has also worked at Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) and was Co-Head of UBS Private Banking division, heading up their offerings in Italy, Monaco and Switzerland. Luigi holds a degree in Economics and a degree in Business Administration.
Marco is responsible for investment decision making across the business. He leads strategy and oversees all activity across equities, fixed income and third-party funds. Previously he was the CIO of UBP London, Chairman of the Global Equity Investment Committee and member of the Global Investment Committee, continuing in his previous role from ACPI where he was partner and CIO. Marco previously worked at Sal Oppenheim and UBS as an equity research analyst. He has an MBA from the Technical University of Dresden, Germany, with a focus on finance. He has been a CFA Charterholder since 2004.
Maria's role is to support the management of portfolios assisting with trading and research. Before joining Arbion, Maria graduated from Imperial College London, where she undertook a MSc in Finance & Accounting. During her undergraduate program in Portugal, she had the opportunity to work alongside Real Estate and Consumer Retail firms, gaining key experience. During her free time, she is a regular tennis player and enjoys watching Formula One.
Matthew is Arbion's Fixed Income Credit Portfolio Manager. He has 25 years of industry experience, most recently managing the Rubrics Global Credit Fund for over 10 years. Matthew has invested across the credit spectrum in a wide variety of global bond issuers, spanning a diverse breadth of industries. Complementing his credit knowledge, Matthew has strong debt-capital structure and cross-currency bond awareness, having been an active investor in both senior and subordinated bonds issued in a range of global currencies. Matthew is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Max is responsible for managing and developing UHNW client relationships. He is also involved in the evolution of Arbion’s ESG offering. Max comes from an institutional background and previously worked at Insight Asset Management where he managed a book of UK pension schemes and insurance firms. He has a B.Sc. in Economics from Newcastle University; he holds the Investment Management Certificate and the Certificate in ESG Investing. Outside of work, Max is a reluctant Arsenal supporter and a Miniature Dachshund enthusiast.
Michael is responsible for Arbion’s investments across Hedge Fund portfolios. He has twenty six years of investment management experience and has managed portfolios across asset classes in North America, Europe and Asia. Michael joined Arbion from Amundi Alternative Asset Management, where he was Global Co-Head of Investment and Head of the firm’s London office. Prior to Amundi, Michael spent five years at JPMorgan Investment Management where he was a Portfolio Manager managing Asian Equity portfolios and a Japan Long Short Equity Hedge Fund.
Richard is a Senior Client Advisor working with clients both in the UK and overseas. He has in-depth experience of working with successful entrepreneurs and their families, advising on all aspects of their wealth including multi-asset investment portfolios, cash management and debt solutions. Prior to Arbion, Richard was a Private Banker at Coutts & Co focusing on UK resident non-domiciled individuals and their tax efficient wealth structuring requirements. Richard is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Robbie joined the Arbion Wealth Management team as an Analyst in September 2022. His day-to-day responsibilities are fluid, being involved in a variety of different projects and assignments. Robbie attended the University of Reading, where he received a First-Class degree in BSc Consumer Behaviour and Marketing. Outside of work, Robbie is a keen sportsman and can be found watching either the rugby or Formula 1, or out on the golf course struggling to lower his handicap.
Robert has been managing the wealth of private clients since 2006 as a portfolio manager and fixed income specialist. He is jointly responsible for the multi-asset investment team, global fixed income strategies, and Arbion's retail funds business. Previously, he worked for Lehman Brothers on the European Capital Markets team, and then Coutts & Co where he was a member of the fixed income and foreign exchange selection committees, responsible for managing the advisory and discretionary portfolios for private clients and institutions. Robert is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Rob works closely with both the investment and operations team's. His role involves monitoring, managing, and reporting on Arbion's risk profile, including market, operational and third-party risks. He also has oversight of portfolio exposures and risk statistics as well as maintaining the model portfolios. Rob is a qualified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals. He holds an MSc in Financial Mathematics from King’s College London, as well as MSc and BSc in Mathematics from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Tim is responsible for managing all aspects of the firm’s, financial operations. Prior to joining Arbion; Tim spent 3 years with UBS, in Sydney Australia, managing a cross-divisional finance team, and 5 years with Nomura Code Securities, in London, as their Financial Controller. Tim is a member of Arbion's Business Operations Committee, a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and holds a BSc in Geology from the University of Birmingham. Tim enjoys visiting new countries and experiencing different cultures with his family.
